Max and Jennifer Are Engaged - Check out our NYC Awesome Session

I LOVE NEW YORK. Really, I love it more than any place ever. The energy, the million different backdrops, the Meat Market, Chelsea Market, SoHo, Village, 5th Ave (the best for shopping) and so on. When I get the opportunity to work with my brides and grooms in NYC for their weddings and/or engagement sessions I jump for the chance. (It doesn't hurt that my family is there and I always get to see them and stay with them as well).
Max and Jen were terrific models. I always ask my couples what their hobbies are, their loves, and dislikes as well as how they met. What they had in common was shopping (Yay), the love of the city, Hanging out with each other. Max is a huge football fan and Sundays are his day for the game. You can't tear him away so we planned their engagement session on a very early Sunday morning. Jen is a fashion girl. She loves her shoes and as you will see we worked those beautiful shoes into the session to incorporate her "hobby". Can't blame the girl.
After the session Max and Jen viewed these images and they each had a favorite of each other. They asked me to put together a custom piece of art that would mesh the two images together as one. This image came out to exactly what they were looking for and now they will have this in a fabulous canvas print in their home. Here it is!
Here are some of the other highlights:

Veronique, Brookline MA - Aviva and Steve's Wedding Day

I love Veronique in Brookline Massachusetts - It is a fabulous place to photograph a wedding. The atmosphere is nothing short of elegant! Aviva and Steve had a beautiful Jewish Ceremony on site at the Veronique that was so traditional to the Jewish heritage. All of their personal touches that made their wedding unique to them were perfect. I just loved the votives and the vintage yet modern feel to the table settings. It was a great combination of the two. Check it out!

They met after two families had already begun. Two wonderful people with several beautiful children. I could not be more happy for this large extended modern day "Brady Bunch". Julie and Dave have the sweetest love and the most soothing parenting towards each others children. This wedding was more than just a wedding but a completion of a family union...
I wish you "All" the best love and luck in your future as the MOSES family. Congratulations Dave and Julie.

I had a really great time working with this couple. They are so adorable and sweet that it made the session an extreme pleasure. We started off working with the beautiful fall colors here in New Hampshire and then ended up in a salvage yard. They were both very photogenic and I can't wait to shoot their wedding in the summer at The State Room in Boston.

Mandarin Oriental Bermuda - Destination Wedding with Laura and Justin - Also known as Elbow Beach Bermuda Resort - Stunning

Here I sit finally having had completed my destination wedding photo session. Laura and Justin got married at an exquisite beach front resort http://www.mandarinoriental.com/bermuda/special_occasions/September 26, 2009. I always love going to the islands and just when landing at the airport you can see turquoise water for miles around. So picture that and the finest softest sandy beach with a pinkish hue to become husband and wife. Laura and Justin did just that! The day started out looking as though the dark clouds were going to bring a nasty storm our way. After all it is hurricane season in Bermuda right now and so it was a definite possibility. Luck was on our side and proved to be the ideal weather for a beach wedding.
Laura was so beautiful and she wore an antique pearl necklace handed down from her grandmother. She had been so sweet towards Justin when her dad gave her away. Before the minister began his ceremony Laura grabbed Justin and gave him a huge hug and kiss. Then the minister proceeded! Justin was so in love with Laura and looked at her with pure joy in his eyes. He was so adorable after the ceremony was over and just kept admiring his wedding band (see attached photos) so so cute!
The reception was really fun and everyone had an amazing time dancing and celebrating this perfect union. I was so happy to have been a part of their day and able to enjoy such a spectacular trip as well. Congratulations Laura and Justin!

Kait and Andy Got Married at Jones River Trading in Kingston Massachusetts

I am in the process of trying to get caught up with my blogging. I am starting with a wedding I photographed last week in Kingston Massachusetts. Well the weather was very clear and a beautiful day for a wedding. Lucky since the ceremony was held at Grays Beach in Kingston where the bride and all of her bridal party were barefoot on the beach for the occasion. We then went to Jones River Trading in Kingston for the reception. This venue was so unique and perfect for a wedding. When you first arrive you can't see the beauty of the place but when you enter inside - Wow! I suggest taking a look at their website for anyone who wants a great place to hold a reception.
Kait and Andy are so wonderful together and it reflects in the images that I shot. The thing that stands out in my mind is that Kait is a petite girl and Andy is a tall person who picks her up like a doll in order to kiss her. So so so adorable. Here are some photos of their wedding! Enjoy them.
