Kelly and Nick had an elegant wedding in Jackson NH, the White Mountains at The Inn of Thorn Hill. The views over looking the mountains for their ceremony were breathtaking. The decor of the wedding was put together to take on the feel of the mountains. They beautifully blended birch tree, orchids, flowers, dark stones, moss and other elements of nature. A wonderful string quartet played during both the wedding ceremony and the cocktail hour. An elegant nature wedding. The bride wore a dress that was cocktail length, belle sleeves and was just so perfect for her. The back of the dress had several buttons on the bottom hem which Kelly had added one blue button for her "blue" wedding item. She had gorgeous antique pearls given to her by her grandmother and then topped it off with a pair of Bagdey Mischka shoes.
Kelly and Nick had met years ago while working on a project together for work. Their relationship is wonderful and warm and sweet. They had their wedding in the White Mountains since they have frequently gone hiking there in the past. Bentley, their super cute and adorable dog had been along for their hiking trips and visits. The second time they were visiting Thorn Hill, Nick, who always wanted to see a bear, got to do just that. They ran into the bear who was hanging out in the exact spot that they ended up placing their wedding reception tent on at the property. So Nick scooped up Kelly's dog, Bentley and made sure to keep him safe from the big bad bear. So cute. I believe that Nick and Bentley are now bonded together for life. It only made perfect sense for Bentley to big a part of Nick and Kelly's wedding day. He was ushered down the isle by Kelly's Grandfather. Adorable. I have posted images for all to see. Take a look. Congratulations Kelly, Nick and Bentley.
